The Tesoro Cultural Center, and the
Denver Astronomical Society commerorate
the Leonid Metoer Storm of 1833

On November 13, 1833 thousands of meteors showered the sky over North America. 
To the native peoples of the land, it appeared that the stars were falling out of the heavens. 
Some thought it was the judgement

To celebrate this phenomenon in history, a noted Scientist and Astronomer swill lecture
about the the historical and scientific aspects of Leonids meteor shower in conjuction with a
special dinner at The Fort.

The Denver Astronomical Society will setup telescopes in the courtyard from 8:30 - 9:30 p.m. (weather permitting). Free to the public.
